Your interests

Your interest profile tells me which offers suit you and which I sort out. You describe it in your own words; I turn it into a list of topics that you correct.

I sort ads, sales emails and cold outreach by your interest profile: what suits you goes to Matching offers, the rest to Unsuitable offers. Normal email – customers, colleagues, invoices – isn't affected. You'll find the profile under Settings → Interests.

The profile

1. Under What are you open to?, just start writing, for example: “I'm happy to look at software that saves us time in the warehouse.”
2. Under What do you never want to get again?, name what should never come again – agencies, lead generation or recruiters, say.
3. Under Here’s how I understood you I show the topics I picked up. Tap ★ for especially important, ⊘ for don’t want and ✕ to remove. Tap a topic to see which of your sentences it came from.
4. Under You might also like I suggest related topics. If something is missing, use Add a topic.
5. Test with your recent emails shows what would have happened to your recent emails: how many offers would get through and how many I'd sort out.
6. Tap Save. At least one topic you want to receive has to be in the list.

If you changed your text a lot, Re-analyse text works the topics out again. Anything you added by hand stays.

Job

In the Job or position field (optional) you tell me what you do. It feeds into the check whether an offer suits you. Separately, under Chief of staff there's Your job (starter pack): there I set up fitting categories for your job. It only adds things, never removes.

What else the profile is for

If you've switched on Give sorted-out senders a second chance, I also check submitted offers against your profile. No price buys its way past this check: what doesn't fit doesn't get through. More under Attention value.

If something's off

If an important offer ended up in Unsuitable offers, bring it back with Actually important – I learn from that and sort out similar ones less often. If things often don't fit, add to your profile or mark a topic with ⊘.
