News from Thomas
Thomas Huhn builds Consent+. Every now and then he writes about what is new and what is coming next. Subscribing takes one click, unsubscribing works at any time.
Every now and then there is something new with me: features, improvements, tips on how to get more out of me. Thomas Huhn, who builds Consent+, writes short posts about it. If you like, they arrive by email.
Subscribing
You can subscribe in three places:
- During setup – there is a box on the last page. It is never pre-ticked; if you leave it empty, I will not ask again.
- As a notice in the front office – once, with Subscribe and Later.
- In the settings under Settings, section “News from Thomas”.
One click on Subscribe is enough. You do not need a confirmation email because you are signed in and your address is already verified. Above the button it says what you agree to: occasional emails to your account address, sent by Thomas Huhn for Consensus Ventures GmbH. I store exactly this text with the date as proof.
What you get
- New features and improvements, with images where they help.
- Tips for everyday work with me.
- Occasionally, not daily. No third-party advertising.
Each post is written in one language. You get the ones that match your account language and all posts meant for both languages. I also show the latest post once in the front office; Hide removes the notice. All previous posts are public at consent.plus/profile/thomas-huhn.
Unsubscribing
In the settings with Unsubscribe or with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. One click is enough, no reason needed. You can subscribe again at any time.
Writing posts
Only for the owner of the news page. Under Write posts, New post creates a post. The editor handles headings, bold, italic, lists, quotes, links, images and dividers. Undo with Ctrl+Z or ⌘+Z. Everything is saved automatically.
- Images: via the button, drag and drop or paste. PNG, JPG, WebP and GIF up to 5 MB are allowed. Every image needs alt text; without it I do not save.
- Pasting from Word or Google Docs: I keep paragraphs, headings, lists, bold, italic and links. Colours, fonts and images from other sites are left out.
- Language: choose whether the post goes to everyone or only to German- or English-speaking subscribers.
Before sending, Send test to me always goes to your own mailbox first, exactly as subscribers will get it. Only then does the send button appear. If you change anything afterwards, you need a new test. Email preview shows the email in the browser beforehand.
If something is wrong
You still got an email after unsubscribing? It was probably already on its way. If it happens again, please write to hallo@consent.plus. If you do not see the section in the settings, the news page is not active right now.
