DEEN

Network

At most three small things a day that do your relationships good – congratulate, thank, get back in touch – each with a reason and a ready draft. You do the sending.

Relationships cool off when nobody thinks of them. Under Network I remind you of small, fitting gestures. Give first, ask later.

The network belongs to the owner of the account group. If you're signed in only to a shared mailbox such as info@, you won't see it.

Today

Today from your network shows at most three suggestions. Occasions include:

  • News – a new role, company news, a new post, an email that bounced.
  • Birthdays today or tomorrow, only for the core and important circles.
  • Thanks – someone introduced you a few weeks ago; tell them what came of it.
  • Anniversary – the first email arrived on this day years ago.
  • Broken rhythm – you usually write regularly, and now it's been unusually quiet.

Below that are the sleeping treasures of the week: three people you haven't been in touch with for a long time, with a shared topic. I leave out pure billing or supplier relationships.

Every suggestion has a Why now: line and usually a draft. Open as draft creates it in your mailbox; you edit and send it. There's also Done, Not now and Never for this person.

To keep it light: I suggest the same person at most once in 30 days. If three suggestions you acted on go unanswered, I pause that person for 180 days. Never for this person is permanent.

The ladder

Every suggestion belongs to a step:

  1. Warm up – congratulations, thanks, an occasion.
  2. Revive – a sign of life after a long pause.
  3. Offer – your product, when it fits and there's an occasion.
  4. Ask for referral – after praise, ask for a recommendation or an intro.

Offers and referral requests only appear once you've added products under Goals & products. At most one of each per day.

Impact

The Impact tab shows the last 90 days per step: suggestions, acted on, reply rate, meetings, referrals. “Acted on” means you wrote to the person. Replies, meetings and introductions count if they come within a few weeks. I suggest more of what works for you.

On Fridays I sum up the week. If notifications are on, Your network week arrives at 4 pm.

Updates list

Here people sign up through your own sign-up page and confirm it. Only they receive your news. Before sending to everyone, a test goes to you. For now the list is so far only enabled for the Consent+ team, until a lawyer has reviewed the consent and unsubscribe texts.

If something's wrong

A suggestion doesn't fit: Not now. Never again for this person: Never for this person. If the page is empty, there's usually not enough history in your mailbox yet.
