What I'm called
You can give me a name of my own. In English I'm always your chief of staff; the three forms in settings only change the German wording. The choice applies to every account in your group.
I work for you, so you decide what I'm called. In English I'm always your chief of staff. In German there are three forms: Chefsekretärin, Chefsekretär or Chefsekretariat. You can also give me a name of my own. Once we've worked together for a few days, I'll ask you about it myself.
Set name and form
- Open Settings → Chief of staff. On your phone you'll find it under More.
- Pick the form under What should I be called?.
- Enter a name under Own name (optional), for example “Miss Moneypenny”. At most 40 characters; leaving it empty is fine.
- Tap Save.
The setting applies to your whole account group. You have one chief of staff, not one per mailbox.
Where you see it
- In the app: in German, headings, hints and buttons adapt grammatically. I show my own name, for example, on the desk.
- Below replies I prepare: as long as the note is on, it says “Prepared by my AI chief of staff at Consent+”. You can switch it off under To the outside, but only with Pro.
- In my replies to sorted-out senders: there I introduce myself with my name, for example “Moneypenny, Anna's AI chief of staff”.
And the tone?
The form only changes what I'm called, not how I write. I learn the tone of your replies elsewhere: from the Notebook and, with Pro, from Your writing style. Both are under Replies. What I'm allowed to do on my own is explained in What I may do on my own.
If something's off
If one account still shows the old form, it probably isn't part of your group – it has its own setting. Within the group, saving once is enough.
