Your data

What I store from your emails, where data goes, which AI models in the EU read along – and how you delete it all again. The privacy policy is binding; here are the essentials in short.

I work with very personal data: your mailbox. The privacy policy is binding. The controller is Consensus Ventures GmbH.

What I store

  • From each email: sender, subject, date, up to 20,000 characters of text, attachment file names and the text of PDF and text attachments (up to 10 MB, at most 100,000 characters) – for display, sorting and search. This stays stored until you delete your account; disconnecting Gmail alone doesn't delete it.
  • For each item in the front office: a one-sentence summary, my suggestion with its reason, a deadline if there is one, and your decision. I delete the summary, suggestion and reason 30 days after the item is done.
  • Your interest profile, your settings and your consents with their timestamps.
  • Writing style (only if you switch it on): a short profile of greeting, tone, length and sign-off – no content. Switching it off deletes it.
  • Access keys for Google and connected services, encrypted only.

Where data goes

Hosting is in the EU (Scaleway), the database is in Frankfurt (Neon). Other service providers only get what their job needs: TypeSafe (JEV) for sorting emails, Google or Microsoft for your mailbox and sign-in, Stripe for payments, Resend (EU) for our service emails, Serper for company news in your network (only the company name is sent) and, when you click “Find LinkedIn profile” on a contact, for that one search (name and company). Some of these companies are based in the US; the basis then is the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.

AI models

To summarise, sort and draft, I use language models from Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (GPT via Microsoft Azure). I reach both through OpenRouter – since 3 October 2026 via its EU region, which only routes requests to data centres in the EU. Technically I only route to providers that neither store inputs nor train on them. For a draft I send the email, its thread, up to five earlier emails with the same contact and your notebook – only for that one draft.

Deleting

  • Individual things: you see and change your interest profile under Your interests, you can “forget” contacts on their card, and disconnect connections.
  • Disconnect Gmail: General → Disconnect Gmail …. I remove my labels, put sorted-out mail back in your inbox and revoke access at Google. Your account, your interests and the stored email and attachment texts stay.
  • Delete account: General → Delete account …. I tidy up Gmail the same way and then delete your account with all data, including credit and credits. This only affects the account that's currently open; delete linked accounts one by one.

Receipts for purchases (amount, date, billing address) must be kept for ten years. They're used for nothing else.

If something's off
