Notifications
I notify you on your phone or computer when something is ready in your front office – bundled rather than one by one, and quiet at night. You decide how much the notification reveals.
I don't ping you about every email. When something new in your front office needs your decision or sign-off, I send you a notification. If a lot comes in at once, I bundle it into one.
Turn notifications on
- Open Settings → General and scroll to Notifications on your phone.
- Tap Turn on notifications and allow notifications in your browser.
- Use Send test to check that everything arrives.
This works per device. Devices that are on are listed below; Remove takes one out. On iPhone, notifications only work if you first add Consent+ to your Home Screen via “Share” → “Add to Home Screen” and open it from there.
Two switches below:
- Show sender and what it is about – when off, the notification only says “New in your front office”. Handy when others can see your screen.
- Quiet at night (10 pm–7 am) – whatever arrives at night is waiting in your front office in the morning.
When I get in touch
Under Chief of staff → When I get in touch you can set more:
- Reminder before appointments – 5 to 60 minutes before a meeting; tasks with a time at that time. Your calendar needs to be connected.
- Morning briefing – one notification in the morning: what's on today and what I did yesterday.
- Quiet hours – during this time I only get in touch for urgent VIP matters.
- Daily wrap-up – from 6 pm a short status: all done, or what's waiting until tomorrow.
I'm rolling out the morning briefing, the wrap-up and the quiet hours from this page step by step. Until they're active for you, I notify you about every new item in the decision and sign-off folders, quiet at night according to the switch above. Once they're active, I only notify you right away about what can't wait: anything suspicious, deadlines within the next day and a half, VIPs and decisions. The rest goes into the briefing.
Prefer email? Briefing by email under General sends you a short summary.
If something's off
If nothing arrives, send a test. If it says notifications are blocked, allow them again in your browser or phone settings. If the test doesn't arrive, turn notifications off and on again.
